History
Jack Russell Terrier is a small, active dog created for hunting. It is named after its creator – the preacher John Russell. He lived in the 19th century in England and was a passionate hunter of animals. These dogs are bred for hunting in all climates, they endure snow, cold and heat.

Physical characteristics
The average height is between 26-35 cm and the weight is between 6-7 kg. The head is flat, the stop is well defined. The muzzle is broad, with strong jaws, pigmented lips and scissor bite. The eyes are small, dark with a penetrating gaze. The body is longer than its height. The hair may be smooth, hard and predominantly white. Allowed are black, ginger or brown spots.

Character and behavior
